Allowances and rates, by resource
What Prototype includes, and what usage costs on a paid plan.
Free allowances are counted across your whole account rather than per resource, and they belong to Prototype: a paid plan is metered from the first unit, which is what pays for backups and support. Prototype resources are deleted after 30 days without a request, and model keys are limited to the small models. Rates verified 26 Aug 2026.
Developer preview. Rates, allowances and plans may change without notice while the service is in preview.
Usage is priced at cost
We do not mark up what you use. The subscription is the business model, so the rate at one request is the rate at ten million, and nobody is quietly paying more for scaling.
Free means free, not a trial
The Prototype allowance does not expire and never asks for a card. It is counted across your account rather than per resource, so five databases share it instead of multiplying it.
Caps, not surprises
Set a monthly budget per team and per key. When it is hit, provisioning stops instead of billing, and you are emailed on the way there.
